I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember, and for nearly a decade, I’ve worked as a professional organizer, helping people sort through and deal with the things they’ve accumulated. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when buying things becomes so effortless that you don’t have time to decide if they’re worth having.

Our current culture encourages a cycle of constant accumulation:

See it. Want it. Buy it. Use it. Replace it. Discard it. Repeat.

More trends. More seasons. More collections. More things.

Easier. Faster. Cheaper.

Nowhere is this cycle more visible than in our closets. Clothing has become extraordinarily easy to acquire—and extraordinarily easy to discard. Fast fashion has made it possible to buy enormous quantities of clothing at remarkably low prices, but that convenience comes with a very real cost: enormous amounts of textile waste, relentless consumption of natural resources, exploitative production systems, and a culture that encourages us to constantly buy more and value what we own less.

And then there’s what I see firsthand: people surrounded by things they once wanted, now overwhelmed by everything they no longer have room for.

This cost is way too high for something we value so little.

We are trapped in this cycle, accumulating without ever stopping to ask whether it’s actually making our lives better—until eventually, we’re left figuring out how to get rid of it all.

As an organizer, I see the end of this cycle firsthand.

As a designer, I want to challenge the beginning of it.

The Beautiful Wild is my response to fast, disposable fashion, shaped by my life as an artist and my experience as a professional organizer. For nearly a decade, I’ve seen what our culture of excess looks like up close.

My goal is to make better use of what already exists. To save what can be saved. To reimagine what has been overlooked. To breathe new life into the discarded and forgotten.

To create one-of-a-kind pieces using secondhand, repaired, salvaged, upcycled, and repurposed materials.

You don’t need more clothes. You need clothes that deserve the space they take up in your closet.
